Douglas Berger

host, writer, editor and co-producer

Doug is the host and editorial director of Brand of Brothers, in addition to being a branding agency partner and award-winning designer.

Prior to starting the REMIXED branding agency, Douglas Berger had the profound honor of working with clients from around the globe, including brands like Bacardi, Universal Music Group, Rolex, Mercedes, Target and countless others. He continues to work with Fortune 500s all the way through to start-ups.

Doug studied Graphic Design & Illustration at The University of Miami, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design & Illustration, as well as a degree in Art History. He also did a short stint at the School of Visual Arts under the tutelage of the famed Milton Glaser, but returned to UM to complete his studies. While at UM, he established the Student AIGA chapter for the University and played an instramental role in bringing the school newspaper online, making it one of the first five Universities with an online newspaper.

Doug has been decorated with awards including ADDY Awards, Telly Awards, Communicator Awards and the coveted Midas Award, and then some. Moreover, he has been published in a vast array of magazines and books, and has been a guest lecturer at Columbia University, University of Central Florida, and Full Sail, just to name a few.

When Doug is out of the office, he tends to find himself engaged in extracurriculars, from serving on Boards of Directors, hosting his podcast, Brand of Brothers, as well as being a co-founder of Orlando's first makerspace.

Given the opportunity, he loves to paint and just make stuff. He especially loves to travel and spend his time with his wife and kids. Whether it's canoeing, kayaking, hiking or just enjoying a finely crafted beverage on his back porch overlooking the tropical fauna and sparkling lake, Doug enjoys the simpler things that make life a little extra special.
